DuPont Thailand appoints new managing director
DuPont Thailand has appointed Sittideth Sriprateth as managing director of the company.
He replaces Dr. Somchai Laohverapanich who retired at the end of 2015. He will be responsible for business operations of DuPont Thailand, including driving sales growth for the Nutrition & Health business. He will also strengthen DuPont''s position in strategic sectors in Thailand, including agriculture, food, energy, and automotive.
Having worked with chemical and polymer companies, Sittideth joined DuPont in 2012, and possesses senior and executive management experience in key regional roles in Asia Pacific and the US.
He was previously DuPont''s ASEAN business development manager and Asia Pacific pricing leader of Titanium Technologies business, based in Thailand.
In 2013, he was named managing director of DuPontVietnam and DuPont Myanmar based in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2014, he held an additional role of business leader of DuPont Crop Protection business for Vietnam.
Sittideth holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Microbiology from King Mongkut''s University of Technology Thonburi.
In addition, he obtained a Master Degree of Science in Food Technology from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and Executive MBA from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administrative.
